The Fibre Technician will be responsible for installing, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining various fiber-optic networks for different clients. Day-to-day tasks will include splicing, configuring fiber cables, identifying faults, and ensuring seamless network performance. This is a very hands on role requiring a can do approach and the ability to adapt to any given situation. The role will also involve complying with safety standards and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers.QualificationsProven experience in Fiber Installation, Fiber Splicing, and Cable InstallationStrong skills in OTDR Testing, Fault Diagnosis, and Troubleshooting of fiber networksStrong knowledge of Network Configuration.Experience working with Work Management Systems and the ability to maintain detailed recordsUnderstanding of safety regulations and standards related to fiber-optic installationsAbility to work independently, both on-site and remotelyExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailPrevious experience in telecommunications is essential, minimum 5 yearsRight to work in the UKValid UK driver’s license and the ability to travel to client sites as requiredCerts required, NRSWA units 01, SA001, SA002, K008, N23, N27, N28, SA051
