Psychology Teacher – Full Time (MPS1 £34,398 to UPS3 £52,490) Location: Slough • Permanent Role • TLR (2a £3,527) Available for Exceptional Candidate with Health & Social Care Experience Start Date: Sept 2026 A thriving secondary environment in Slough is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join their Social Sciences team.This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is committed to academic excellence and innovative subject delivery. About the Role You will deliver engaging and well-structured Psychology lessons, with the opportunity to contribute more widely to the Social Sciences curriculum. Key Responsibilities Teach Psychology across appropriate Key Stages (KS4–KS5 depending on experience).Deliver high-quality, well-planned lessons that motivate and challenge learners.Support departmental development, enrichment and wider curriculum initiatives.Contribute to pastoral support and the broader school community.Engage in continued professional development and reflective practice. What We’re Looking For A degree in Psychology or a closely related field. QTS/PGCE and ability to teach Psychology confidently.Strong classroom management and communication skills.A passion for developing analytical thinking, curiosity and academic progress.Desirable: Experience in Health & Social Care (TLR available for exceptional candidate).
