Senior Delivery ManagerCity of LondonHybrid (3/2 split)6-months contract £800 - £900 per day (via Umbrella)cer Financial are working alongside an international, warm and exciting bank who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Senior Delivery Manager to work with them on a 6-months contract.The responsibilities of the Senior Delivery Manager will include:Lead the delivery of technology projects from inception to completion.Oversee the delivery of a portfolio of AI, Innovation, and Automation projects, coordinating resources, managing priorities, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.Ensure compliance with internal assessment and approval processes and manage stakeholder expectations.Manage project budgets, including accurate forecasting, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial targets are met.Provide regular project updates to senior management and other stakeholders, with a focus on the progress and impact of AI, Innovation, and Automation initiatives.Mentor and guide junior team members, promoting professional development and knowledge sharing.The successful Senior Delivery Manager will have:Tech background who went into project and delivery mgtInfrastructure, project and application experience – technical enough to understand the technology10+ years in project or delivery management, preferably in financial services.Experience delivering SaaS solutions and managing cloud migration projects.Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines in automation contexts.Strong understanding of AI and Automation technologies and their applications.Excellent project management skills.PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or other relevant project management certification is a plus.Proficiency in RAID management, project scheduling, and reporting tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
