To support the delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects by assisting with setting out, quality control, site supervision, and technical documentation, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification.Key ResponsibilitiesSetting Out & SurveyingAssist with setting out works in accordance with drawings and specificationsUse total stations, GPS, and levelling equipmentConduct as-built surveys and maintain accurate site recordsEnsure line and level accuracySite SupervisionSupport day-to-day site operationsMonitor subcontractors and workforce activitiesEnsure works comply with drawings, specifications, and method statementsAssist in resolving technical queries on siteHealth & Safety ComplianceSupport implementation of CDM Regulations 2015Assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)Promote safe working practicesParticipate in toolbox talks and safety briefingsQuality AssuranceComplete Inspection Test Plans (ITPs)Record material deliveries and compliance documentationMaintain quality records and site diariesSupport audits and inspectionsDocumentation & ReportingMaintain accurate site recordsProduce daily/weekly progress reportsAssist with technical submissionsSupport preparation of handover documentationCoordination & CommunicationLiaise with subcontractors, supervisors, and suppliersAttend site meetingsCommunicate technical information clearlyEscalate issues to Senior Engineer or Site ManagerPerson SpecificationEssentialA degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or similar qualification) or experience equivalentExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull UK driving licence.DesirableKnowledge of water or infrastructure projectsExperience using total station equipmentCSCS cardUnderstanding of CDM regulationsKey SkillsTechnical awarenessAttention to detailProblem-solving abilityOrganisation & time managementTeamworkAdaptabilityWillingness to learnSkills:Technical Civil Engineering Knowledge Setting Out & Surveying Skills Health & Safety Awareness Understanding of Utilities & Coordination Communication & Teamwork Quality Control & DocumentationBenefits:Company Vehicle Laptop Mobile Phone Paid Holidays Parking Group Life Assurance
