You'll join a high-performing HR team and take the lead on employee relations across a multi-site, unionised manufacturing environment.12-month maternity cover with immediate startHybrid working after training (approx. 60% onsite)Influence culture and ER strategy across UK & IrelandPart of a global business in 80+ countriesTrue generalist scope - with a strong ER and union engagement focusCareer development opportunities within the Group What You'll DoAs the divisional lead for employee relations, you will:Own and resolve complex ER cases - disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, appealsBuild strong, collaborative union relationships, including negotiations and consultationProvide expert advice on HR policy, performance and absence managementCoach, guide and upskill managers to strengthen leadership capabilityContribute to recruitment processes when neededEnsure compliance and support audit activityProduce HR reports, KPIs and trend analysis to inform decision-makingWhat You BringWe're looking for a confident, capable HR professional who thrives in a busy operational environment.Degree and CIPD qualificationStrong ER leadership experience, ideally within manufacturingProven expertise resolving complex casesGood understanding of UK & Ireland employment lawExperience in a unionised environment (advantageous)Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary + benefitsHours: Mon-Thu 8:15-5:00, Fri 8:30-4:00Flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per weekHybrid workingPension, life assuranceFree onsite parkingDiscounted gym memberships, eye care, and virtual health servicesFor more information, please reach out to me for an initial chat, and a full overview of the client and the opportunity.
