Job DescriptionDuties include driving both skip (lugger) and multi lift vehicles for the collection, loading /unloading and transportation of containers (skips, boxes and compactors) from specified locations to agreed treatment facilities. If no driving duties are available, you will be required to undertake manual labouring duties. There will also occasionally be a requirement for the operation of heavy plant & HGV vehicles within the disposal section. LGV/HGV driving licence C&E, Valid Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence and Valid Tachograph driver card are experience of vehicle maintenance, routine checks, loading techniques, and manual handling.
