A busy and well-regarded council based in London is seeking an experienced Childcare & Adult Paralegal to join their legal team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive local authority environment, handling meaningful and impactful work. The Role You will support the Childcare and Adult Social Care legal team, assisting with a varied caseload and providing high-quality legal and administrative support. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with care proceedings and adult social care matters Preparing court bundles and legal documentation Drafting correspondence and legal documents Liaising with counsel, social workers, clients, and external agencies Diary management Requirements Previous experience working as a Paralegal within Childcare and/or Adult Social Care law (essential) Experience within a local authority childcare and/or adults’ legal team Strong understanding of relevant legislation and court processes Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage a busy caseload in a fast-paced environment Must be immediately available What’s on Offer 3-month temporary contract £18-25 per hour Hybrid working options- 2 days per week in the office If you are an experienced Childcare & Adult Paralegal and available to start immediately, we would love to hear from you.
