St Audrys Golf Club St Audrys Golf Club is a 9-hole course situated in a picturesque parkland setting close to Woodbridge in Suffolk. We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time green keeper. Full training can be provided, making this a varied and rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and with a genuine interest in contributing to the quality and presentation of the course. The Role· Position: Part- Time Green Keeper at St Audrys Golf Club.· Hours: Flexible and with some weekend work. Circa 20hrs per week – occasional overtime.· Remuneration: £14 - £16 per hour dependent on experience. · Benefits: PPE Clothing provided as needs. Professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities · Assisting the full-time green keeper with the daily maintenance of the golf course· General groundskeeping tasks include mowing, watering, greens and bunker maintenance.· Where appropriate, able to operate hand and power tools and relevant mechanical equipment. Requirements/ Person Specification Essential: · Enjoys working outdoors in varying weather conditions.· Physical fitness commensurate with the nature of the role.· Reliable, punctual and with the ability to work alone.· Attention to detail, taking pride in their work.· Good communication skills, able to follow instructions and communicate effectively with colleagues.· Flexibility. Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and early mornings as required. Desirable: · Previous experience in green keeping, groundskeeping, landscaping or similar role.· Equipment knowledge: Familiarity with the safe use and basic maintenance of greens keeping tools and machinery (training available)· Basic plant knowledge: An understanding of turf, plants and landscaping techniques.· Health and Safety awareness: Commitment to safe working practices and procedures.
