Permanent Management Accountant/Analyst job based with a successful Oldham-based company. About the RoleWe’re looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Group FP&A Analyst to join our growing Group Finance team. As the third member of our Group FP&A function, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting our trading divisions with the Executive Team, Board, and external stakeholders.Working closely with the Group FP&A Manager, you’ll help ensure the business delivers on its strategic goals by enhancing the value and insights generated from our reporting and planning processes.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be involved in a wide range of activities across the finance cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation and reporting. Building strong working relationships with divisional and Group Finance teamsDeveloping a deep understanding of our consolidation and reporting system, supporting Business Units where neededProcessing, collating, querying, and analysing divisional and Group resultsProducing high‑quality reporting and planning packs for the Executive Team and external stakeholdersIdentifying opportunities to improve processes and mitigate errorsSupporting the Group FP&A Manager to embed FP&A best practice across the GroupAssisting with Budget and Forecast consolidationCarrying out ad‑hoc tasks to support the needs of the businessWhat Success Looks LikeDelivery of standardised reporting and planning packsAccurate quarterly re-forecastsHigh‑quality annual budgetsAbout YouEssentialWe’re looking for someone who:Is actively studying or part‑qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)Has 2–3 years’ experience in a busy finance environmentDemonstrates high levels of integrity, honesty, and accountabilityShows a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast‑paced businessHas strong Excel skills Understands core business and finance/management accounting processesCan effectively manage deadlines and multiple responsibilitiesWorks collaboratively and adapts well to changeDesirableIf you have:Advanced Excel, data manipulation or financial modelling skillsExperience improving processes or creating standardised reportingKnowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis, including cash flowExperience with enterprise BI or planning tools such as Power BIWhy Join Us?This company offers hybrid working, on-site parking, 25 holidays and study support.
