Your New Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you'll play a key role in helping pupils regulate their emotions, build positive relationships, and engage successfully with learning. Your responsibilities will include: Providing tailored one-to-one support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social needsHelping pupils develop self-regulation strategies and positive coping skillsSupporting engagement in lessons and encouraging positive participationBuilding strong, trusting relationships that promote confidence and resilienceWorking closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the SEND team to implement support plansUsing restorative approaches to help pupils reflect, repair, and move forwardKeeping clear records of progress and communicating regularly with staff and families This role is ideal for someone who is calm, patient, and passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and thrive both academically and personally.
