This is a permanent role with hybrid working pattern, with minimum 2 days per week office attendance.Here you’ll provide support for Cloud-based applications and services and recommend enhancements to meet customer requirements. You’ll take the lead on ad-hoc investigations; identifying additional service requirements and assisting with the delivery of new projects. You’ll work closely with the Head of Infrastructure & EUC and Infrastructure & EUC Lead, in running quality-driven, Agile-inspired, proactive and customer/business-oriented services, that are aligned with the overall strategic development of all Technology services for S&W.If you’re a passionate Cloud Engineer with experience in the above, now is an excellent time to join and use your expertise to help deliver robust, scalable and cost-effective infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of all S&W users, now and in the future!As a Cloud Engineer, your responsibilities will include among others,Design and implement Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirementsManage and monitor Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, and networking componentsAutomate deployment and configuration processes, utilising tools such as PowerShellEnsure the security and compliance of our Azure environment by implementing best practices and security controlsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and servicesAssist with integration plans for merging the IT systems of the acquiring and target companies, ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption to business operationsAssess and mitigate risks associated with the integration of IT infrastructure, including data security, compliance, and system compatibilityQualificationsSkills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role, you should have,Experience of working in a Hybrid Cloud environmentProven experience as an Azure Cloud Engineer or in a similar roleStrong knowledge of Azure services and architectureExperience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as TerraformProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or PythonDesired:Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer), or equivalentExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesWorking knowledge of ZscalerIn-depth knowledge of Azure firewallsSQL experienceAdditional informationAs a colleague here at S&W you will have access to benefits that includeCompetitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependent)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveCycle to work schemeSeason ticket loanEye care support We are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
