CAD Technician - Water & Wastewater InfrastructureFleet, Hampshire (Office-Based)Full-Time | PermanentSalary up to £50,000 DOE + Benefits Are you a CAD Technician with experience in infrastructure or engineering projects? Looking to develop your skills within the UK water and wastewater sector? We are seeking a CAD Technician to support engineering and design teams in producing high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings for water infrastructure and treatment projects. The Role You will play a key role in translating engineering concepts into accurate technical drawings that support successful project delivery. Working closely with engineers, designers and project managers, you'll ensure drawings are clear, compliant and up to date throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Produce and update 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D or similar softwareInterpret engineering mark-ups and specifications into accurate technical drawingsMaintain drawing registers, revisions and document control processesEnsure drawings comply with WIMES, DSEAR, BS/EN and relevant UK standardsSupport drawing reviews and implement design changes efficientlyCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine and improve drawing outputsAssist with preparation of issue sheets and construction packs About You 1-3 years' CAD drafting experience (water or infrastructure preferred)Qualification or certification in CAD, Engineering or related disciplineProficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit or Civil 3D advantageousStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of drawing control and revision managementClear communicator, comfortable working within a technical teamOrganised and able to manage workload within project deadlines Working Pattern Primarily office-based in Fleet, Hampshire, working closely with design and engineering teams. Occasional site visits may be required.
