Female PE Teacher Location: SurreyJob Type: Part-time (4 days a week, temporary until Easter)Salary: Paid to scale We are seeking a dedicated Female PE Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school. This role involves full teaching and assessment responsibilities. The position is part-time, four days a week, and is available until Easter. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons aligned with the curriculum.Assess and record students' progress and provide grades and feedback to promote strong student outcomes.Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic learning environment.Encourage students to actively participate in all physical activities and to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle.Organize sports events and competitions.Collaborate with other teaching staff to integrate physical education with other curricula. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Previous experience as a PE Teacher in a secondary school environment.Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.Excellent communication and motivational skills.Ability to manage classes and deal with challenging behavior.Commitment to professional development and learning.
