Behaviour Support Assistant Secondary School – GreenwichFull-time Start Date: After February Half Term Are you calm under pressure and passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? A large, inclusive secondary school in Greenwich is seeking and experienced, proactive and compassionate Behaviour specialist to join their team in February. This role is ideal for individuals with experience supporting students with challenging behaviour or Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly those with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The Role As a Behaviour Support, you will provide crucial on-call support across the school day. When students become disruptive or are struggling in class, you’ll be called to safely remove them from lessons, help them regulate their emotions, and support them in returning to learning as quickly as possible. Your calm, empathetic and consistent approach will play a key part in maintaining a positive learning environment across the school. Key Responsibilities Respond to on-call behaviour alerts throughout the schoolSupport students in emotional regulation and de-escalationWork closely with pastoral and SEN teamsEncourage a smooth reintegration of students back into lessons About the School This is a large, mixed secondary school in Greenwich that prides itself on its inclusive ethos and vibrant school community.
