SEN Tutor - West LondonLocation: West LondonHours: 20 hours per week (part-time), term-time only (Monday-Friday availability required)Pay: £30 per hourWe are looking for an experienced and supportive SEN Outreach tutor to work with a young person who requires additional learning and emotional support. This is a rewarding role as an SEN tutor based in West London that involves helping to create a positive and responsive learning environment across both home and school settings in the West London area. Some planning (alongside school staff) and regular feedback to parents and wider professionals will be part of the role.SEN Tutor Role:Based in West London, this part-time position involves delivering a tailored curriculum in collaboration with teachers and other support mentors if required. Strong behaviour-support and relationship-building skills are essential.Provide sessions either in school or at home, depending on the student's needsDeliver and adapt curriculum content in partnership with teaching staffBuild trust and emotional safety by working at the student's paceUse positive, student-centred approaches to support engagementSupport independence while offering guidance when neededIdentify potential sensory or emotional challenges and respond appropriatelyEncourage communication, provide processing time, and offer flexible choicesHelp promote emotional regulation through a calm, consistent approachAccompany the student to familiar and supportive environments when neededEssential Qualities:Experience supporting autistic children or young people with additional needsExperience with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs is beneficial but not essentialFlexibility in how support is deliveredReeson Education:Reeson Education is England's Premier Recruitment Agency.
