Learning Support Assistant OpportunitiesWoking, Surrey and surrounding areas Academics is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to support our partner primary schools across Woking, Surrey and the surrounding areas. Due to increased demand, we are looking to recruit both experienced LSAs and those new to the role who are passionate about supporting children's learning and development. We offer a range of flexible opportunities - from daily supply cover to long-term and permanent contracts - designed to suit your individual circumstances and career goals. Available Roles Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Key Stage 1 (KS1) Key Stage 2 (KS2) 1:1 Support Roles Small Group Intervention Support A competitive salary is offered, reflective of your experience and responsibilities. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting (desirable) A patient, caring and proactive approach Good understanding of the primary curriculum (preferred but not essential) Strong communication and teamwork skills Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils Assist pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND Help create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Promote positive behaviour and support classroom management Support the well-being and academic progress of all pupils Why work with Academics?
