A fast-growing London-based FinTech firm building secure, scalable, and high-performance financial platforms that power digital payments, lending, and real-time financial services.As they scale the platform and expand their product offerings, they are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to play a key role in shaping the cloud infrastructure, automation strategy, and reliability standards.The RoleAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of the infrastructure. You’ll work closely with engineering, security, and product teams to ensure our systems are secure, resilient, and compliant with financial regulations.This is a hands-on technical role with strategic influence — ideal for someone who thrives in high-availability, high-security environments and enjoys mentoring others.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS)Lead Infrastructure as Code initiativesImprove CI/CD pipelinesDrive containerisation and orchestrationImplement robust monitoring and observabilityEnhance system reliability, availability, and performanceChampion DevSecOps best practices and automationEnsure compliance with financial services regulations and security standardsMentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategyRequirements Essential:DevOps / Platform Engineering experienceStrong experience with AWSDeep knowledge of Terraform or other IaC toolsExperience managing Kubernetes in productionStrong scripting skills (Python, Go, or Rust)Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and optimisationUnderstanding of networking, security, and high-availability architectures
