Citadel Source is delighted to be working exclusively with a sizeable retail business in Somerset in the recruitment of an Indirect Tax Manager.The role As the Indirect Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing all international VAT oversight, supporting expansion into new markets and line management of 2 VAT specialists. About you This role will suit an CTA/ACA qualified Tax Manager, either from an industry or practice background, who has extensive experience within indirect tax and an awareness of the nuances of a retail business. You will have significant knowledge of tax regulations and be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.As the Indirect Tax Manager, your role will include, but not be limited to: International VAT oversight, including the UK, Europe & some exposure to Asia & the US Advising on jurisdictional matters Input into European distribution structuresSupporting expansion into new markets Managing new OSS registration in relevant jurisdictionsMaintaining compliance across multiple territoriesSupporting rapid international growth and new sales channels Handling both BAU compliance and ad-hoc project workWhat the client is looking for:Strong International VAT experience Cross-border goods experience Experience in either retail, manufacturing, distribution of FMCG ACA/CTA qualified Indirect tax experience Comfortable in a fast paced environment What the client has to offer A salary of circa £60,000Discretionary bonus opportunityPrimarily remote working, once every few weeks in SomersetCompetitive pension schemeBrand discountsSound like a good fit?For more information on this exciting opportunity, please apply or reach out to Jesse Howes at Citadel Source.
