CNC Programmer / Setter / OperatorOrpington, Kent £18 per hour Competitive, dependent on experienceMonday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pmPremier Recruitment Group are partnering with a well-established precision engineering business based in Orpington, Kent, who are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator to join their skilled manufacturing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a competent Mazak Mill/Turn professional with a strong background in a production environment and the ability to programme, set and operate independently.The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting and operating Mazak Mill/Turn CNC machines (3 and 4 Axis). You will be confident interpreting complex engineering drawings and ensuring components are produced to exact specifications and quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesProgramming components directly from detailed engineering drawingsSetting and operating late model Mazak Mill/Turn CNC machinesWorking from job sheets, technical drawings and instructions provided by supervisorsProducing first-off components for inspection and approvalSupporting and overseeing machine operators, addressing any quality or production concernsMaintaining high standards of accuracy and housekeeping within the workshopThe Ideal CandidateProven experience as a CNC Programmer / Setter / Operator within a production environmentStrong knowledge of Mazak and Fanuc controlsExperience working on 3 or 4 Axis machinesAble to read and interpret engineering drawings confidentlyUnderstanding of ISO9001 quality systemsComputer literateSelf-motivated, reliable and quality focusedAble to work effectively under pressure when requiredWhat is on Offer40 hours per weekMonday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm28 days holiday including Bank HolidaysOvertime opportunitiesHealth and wellbeing supportEmployee Assistance ProgrammeFree on-site parkingStaff incentives and seasonal bonusSalary is dependent on experience and will reflect your level of skill and expertise.For a confidential discussion or to apply, please contact:Kirsty Cutts Premier Recruitment Group INDDART
