Our client a forward thinking firm of Chartered Accountants is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Barnsley office. This is a key role with genuine progression opportunities, overseeing a varied client portfolio and contributing to the strategic development of the firm.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a mixed portfolio of clients, delivering high quality accounts, tax and advisory servicesLeading and mentoring a team of accountantsSupporting business development and identifying opportunities for growthMaintaining strong client relationships, including meeting prospective clientsEnsuring compliance and consistently high service standardsSkills & ExperienceACA/ACCA qualified with a strong practice background (ideally 3+ years PQE)Proven experience managing client portfolios and developing staffStrong IT capability, including Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Office 365 and ideally IRIS/MyWorkpapersConfident communicator with a proactive, organised and professional approachAmbitious, self motivated and committed to progressing into a leadership roleBenefitsUp to £50k salary, flexible working, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, study support, pension, health cash plan, life assurance, paid volunteering, professional memberships, referral bonuses, regular staff socials, free parking and additional incentives.
