6-month finance contract starting January 2026 ROLE PURPOSE:This is a high-impact role where you’ll influence decisions and help shape the future business model for a new Defence Business Unit. You’ll have the autonomy to lead your area, backed by strong governance and support. This role is full-time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home, based in Bristol.This role is inside IR35 and initially 6-months long.MAIN ACTIVITIES:•Providing Directors / Heads of Business with accurate financial insights to drive decision-making, business modelling and scenario planning for defence contract(s).•Producing clear, meaningful reports showing contract performance and variances•Gather and consolidate requirements from internal stakeholders (engineering team, project team, wider business).•Collaborating with Project Managers to identify and mitigate financial risks•Building strong relationships with business leads and commercial team•Supporting contract review and presenting to senior stakeholdersThis Job Description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all activities that an individual in this position may be asked to perform.
