With consistent growth and a healthy pipeline of new work, the consultancy is expanding its civil and structural team and is seeking a motivated engineer to contribute to both design and onsite project delivery.Your new role As a Civil/Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and delivering technical designs, site activities, and project coordination. The position offers a balance of office-based design work and onsite inspections, giving you both analytical and hands-on project responsibilities will include:Producing civil and structural designs, calculations, and technical drawingsCarrying out site inspections, surveys, and monitoring activities to assess progress and ensure compliancePreparing technical reports, design documentation, and risk assessmentsLiaising with clients, contractors, and statutory bodiesSupporting feasibility studies and contributing to project planningEnsuring work meets regulatory standards and project timeframesWhat you'll need to succeed You will bring a mix of technical knowledge, practical site awareness, and the ability to work confidently within a team and requirements include:Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related disciplinePrevious onsite experience is essential (inspections, monitoring, surveys, or site engineering activities)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency with relevant engineering software Excellent communication and reporting skillsProgress toward chartership (or interest in working toward it) is desirableWhat you'll get in return You will join a consultancy that genuinely values professional development, technical growth, and employee wellbeing.
