Ensuring that vital electrical systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of safety and precision.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIESManufacture of aircraft electrical cable assemblies and panels.Installation of electrical harnesses into aircraft structures.Use of automatic test equipment.Interpretation of electrical drawings.Working flexibly in groups.CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSIt is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure that sufficient detail is provided on the application form to demonstrate how the applicant meets essential job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.EssentialA recognised electrical apprenticeship and electrical experience in a relevant industry, eg Aerospace, automotive etcThe ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and EPRs.Be able to competently use specialised tools and electrical test equipment.DesirablePossess a strong understanding of aircraft electrical and avionics systemsCompleted applications must be submitted by 4pm Wednesday 18 MarchWe employ people from all sections of the community and are committed to the appointment of the best candidate based upon the merit principle alone.
