Planning Solicitor (1-3 years') – Edinburgh An excellent opportunity for a Planning Solicitor to join a well-established team in Edinburgh. The role offers exposure to both contentious and non-contentious planning work across a broad client base and development portfolio, including matters arising from national, major and local developments.Role ResponsibilitiesYou will support a varied planning law caseload, including:Contentious and non-contentious planning mattersEnvironmental law considerationsCompulsory purchase issuesPublic inquiries and planning appealsJudicial review proceedingsSupporting complex cases alongside senior colleaguesIndependent matter management where appropriateContribution to client relationships and team objectivesAbout You: 1-3 years' PQE (candidates with more experience will also be considered)Experience in planning or environmental law (desirable but not essential)Strong analytical and client service skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamInterest in professional development and business growthCandidates qualified in Scots law or dual-qualified in Scots and English law are preferred.
