Technical Manager – Strategic Land Delivery.London.Cognisant has partnered with a leading strategic land developer seeking a hands-on Technical Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, residential and mixed-use sites from planning consent through enabling infrastructure and preparation for disposal. This is a high-impact, end-to-end technical role at a master developer, not a typical housebuilder.What you’ll do:Lead the technical delivery of multiple strategic land sites, including site servicing, infrastructure, and enabling worksCoordinate closely with planning, commercial, and infrastructure teams to ensure sites are market-readyManage consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver quality, cost, and programme targetsProvide technical input into commercial appraisals, valuations, and site disposal strategyIdentify risks, constraints, and opportunities across the portfolioWho we’re looking for:Technical, Project or Development Manager with proven experience delivering strategic land or larger-scale residential/mixed-use sitesStrong understanding of infrastructure and site servicingExperienced in managing consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teamsCommercially aware, able to provide technical guidance into appraisals, budgets, and disposal strategyIdeally, experience working for a master developer or on sites where you’ve delivered enabling works for saleThis is not a standard housebuilder role – you’ll have end-to-end technical responsibility across high-profile projects and play a key role in shaping both delivery and long-term value.Contact: Dan Petrie | Principal Consultant, Cognisant dan.petrie@cognisantsearch.com | 07487 795148
