As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting sustainable growth through effective cost management and insightful financial analysis. You will work directly with Finance Directors and senior stakeholders, helping shape budgets, forecasts, and investment decisions while embedding a cost-conscious culture across the business. This is a maternity cover contract for 12 months. Client Details Well established and respected Financial Services organisation Description Key responsibilities: Partner with Finance Directors and senior leaders to provide expert expense and cost management insightInfluence leadership teams to embed a strong cost-conscious mindset across the businessLead and present monthly cost forums, highlighting performance vs budget, key risks, and opportunitiesDrive budget setting, forecasting, and reforecasting, challenging assumptions and improving accuracyProvide detailed analysis and ad-hoc insight to support decision-making and accountabilityAgree and maintain fair and transparent cost allocation methodologiesSupport change and investment governance by tracking project costs, benefits, and deliveryManage approval processes for budget adjustments, investment funding, and cost-saving initiatives Profile Skills & experience required Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)Proven business-partnering experience with senior stakeholdersExcellent influencing, communication, and presentation skillsHighly analytical, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insightCommercially astute, proactive, and comfortable working at pace Job Offer c. £70,000 base salary An excellent benefits package including: Bonus potentialContributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contribution)Life assurancePrivate medical insurance28 days annual leave + Bank HolidayHoliday Buy and Sell SchemeEmployee Discounts and a range of other voluntary benefits This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong business, with potential for permanent opportunities within the organisation after the initial contract.
