Project Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out & RefurbishmentEdinburgh | Glasgow | Leading Contractor | Permanent RoleYour New CompanyI am delighted to be partnering with a highly respected and rapidly growing fit‑out and refurbishment contractor with offices in both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Known for their exceptionally positive workplace culture and collaborative environment, they deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across both the public and private sectors—including commercial offices, education, healthcare, leisure and specialist refurbishments.Due to sustained project wins and a strong pipeline for 2026 and beyond, they are now looking to appoint an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.Your New RoleAs Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key commercial role across multiple fast‑paced fit‑out and refurbishment projects up to £5million. Working closely with senior commercial leaders and project delivery teams, you will be responsible for:Cost planning, measurement and tender supportManaging subcontractor procurement and contract administrationPreparing and reviewing valuations and variationsCost reporting and forecastingEnsuring projects are delivered profitably and to high commercial standardsBuilding strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partnersThis role offers exposure to a wide mix of schemes and the opportunity to take ownership of your projects while enjoying the support of an experienced, close‑knit commercial team.What You’ll Need to SucceedTo be successful in this role, you should have:Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, ideally with a background in fit‑out or refurbishment (not essential)Strong commercial and contractual awarenessAbility to manage several live projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsA proactive, solution‑oriented approachDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experienceMost importantly, cultural fit is central—this contractor champions collaboration, trust, flexibility and a modern approach to work.What You’ll Get in ReturnThis is an excellent opportunity to develop your career with a contractor genuinely invested in the growth and wellbeing of its people.
