You’ll build confidence, spark curiosity, and help children discover their strengths in a safe, nurturing environment where every child is valued.You’ll design learning experiences tailored to each pupil’s individual journey - guiding them academically, socially, and emotionally as they grow in confidence and independence.About YouPlan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that inspire learning and celebrate progressTeach and support pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and complex profilesAdapt lessons to meet individual EHCP targets and developmental needsUse a variety of teaching approaches and resources to engage diverse learnersAssess and monitor pupil progress, celebrating both academic and personal achievementsFoster emotional resilience, communication, and independenceCollaborate with therapists, teaching assistants, and other professionalsBuild strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to create consistent supportWho We’re Looking ForWe are particularly interested in applications from teachers experienced in EYFS and Early Primary with SEND experienceA qualified teacher with UK QTS (or equivalent)Passionate about inclusive education and supporting children with autism and complex needsA creative, reflective practitioner who inspires curiosity and joy in learningAbout Acorn Park SchoolAcorn Park School is an independent specialist school in rural Norfolk supporting autistic children and young people aged 4–19.
