Data Engineer (Contract) – Airbyte Experience EssentialWe’re working with a company looking for a Data Engineer contractor to support the development and optimisation of their data platform. This role will involve working across a range of core data engineering activities, including building and maintaining pipelines, integrating data sources, and improving data infrastructure.A key requirement for this role is strong hands-on experience with Airbyte. The team relies heavily on Airbyte for data ingestion and pipeline orchestration, so candidates must have proven experience implementing, managing, and scaling Airbyte pipelines in production environments.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain scalable data pipelines and ingestion workflowsIntegrate multiple data sources into the company’s data platformWork with stakeholders to ensure reliable and efficient data flowsMonitor, maintain, and improve existing data infrastructureUse Airbyte extensively to manage data ingestion and pipeline workflowsRequirementsStrong experience in data engineering and modern data platformsHands-on experience with Airbyte is essentialExperience building and maintaining ETL / ELT pipelinesComfortable working with cloud data environments and modern data toolingExperience integrating multiple data sources and APIsPractical DetailsOutside IR35 2 days onsite per week (can be discussed)Up to £575/day6 months
