We’re hiring a Founding Engineer to help us reimagine the future of hospitality. This is a high-impact, architect-level role where you will be the first engineering hire and design and build the core technical foundation of a new platform from the ground up. Expect a fast-moving environment, high ownership, and a lot of autonomy across architecture, infrastructure, integrations, and backend systems.Please send your CV to: ilana@omnamgroup.comABOUT THE ROLE Your ImpactArchitect and implement core systems: cloud infrastructure, backend services, APIs, and data pipelinesBuild secure, scalable, and reliable components ready for real-world operational environmentsLead integrations with external systems and support early data onboardingEstablish engineering standards, tooling, documentation, and technical processes from the startSet up observability, monitoring, and performance systemsJump in wherever needed, from quick scripts and data cleaning to debugging production issuesWhat You Bring5+ years of engineering experience with strong architecture / complex backend systems experienceDeep hands-on experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, distributed systems, and backend / full-stack developmentStrong foundation in system design, APIs, secure infrastructure, and data flowsProven ability to build products or platforms from 0 → 1Clear communication, strong judgment, and the ability to explain technical decisionsCollaborative working style, high ownership, and the ability to execute independently in a fast-moving environmentSkillset We ValueProficiency in Python, Typescript, or similar modern languagesExperience with backend frameworks (FastAPI, Django, Node.js, Rails, etc.)Strong SQL, data modeling, and database design knowledgeFamiliarity with IaC, containers, CI/CD, and observability toolsBonus: experience in ETL, or hospitality / proptech / real-estate technologyWhy Join UsWe work together in the heart of London (4 days a week on-site)Competitive compensation and meaningful ownershipPrivate health insurance and additional benefitsVisa sponsorship is provided to suitable candidatesIf this mission resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you — even if you don’t meet every requirement.
