Multi-Skilled EngineerLocation: Hatchery OperationsShift Pattern (4-Week Rotation)Week 1: 04:30-12:30 (Mon-Sat)Week 2: 08:00-16:00 (Mon-Fri)Week 3: 15:30-23:30 (Mon-Thu)Week 4: 08:00-16:00 (Mon-Fri)We're looking for a proactive and highly skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to support the smooth and efficient running of our hatchery operations. In this key role, you'll ensure all incubators and associated equipment are maintained to the highest standards, minimising downtime and supporting strong operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure the reliable operation of all incubators, hatchers, and ancillary hatchery equipmentCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to breakdowns promptlyInvestigate faults as soon as they are identified and implement timely corrective actionsWork closely with the Maintenance Manager to improve equipment reliability and performanceMaintain accurate maintenance records and contribute to continuous improvementSupport compliance with health, safety, welfare, and biosecurity standardsAssist with engineering projects, upgrades, and equipment installationsEssentialRecognised Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification (Level 4 or above in at least one discipline)Strong organisational skillsResponsible, proactive attitudeHigh attention to detailDesirableComputer literatePrevious hatchery maintenance experienceThe companyPilgrim's Pride Limited is a division of Pilgrim's Pride Corporation, our business is part of the second largest food company in the world, whose team farm, process, prepare, package and deliver fresh, frozen and value-added food products for sale in more than 100 countries.We are proud to partner with more than 1,000 UK farmers who share our belief in the highest standards on animal welfare, efficiency, and quality.
