Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: Bromley (3 days per week onsite)Remuneration: Daily rate from £650 to £700 (via Umbrella)Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months (likely extensions)Responsibilities:Drive end-to-end automated testing, focusing on both functional and performance automation.Conduct thorough performance testing to ensure applications are reliable, scalable, and stable.Execute API-based testing across a range of data and AI services.Collaborate with developers, data teams, and product stakeholders in an agile environment.Support testing for AI-powered features and services, including LLM-based workflows.Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA practices.Ensure high-quality delivery for a rapidly expanding set of GenAI use cases.Skills & Experience:Essential:Strong background as a QA Automation Engineer, SDET, or Quality Engineer.Proven experience automating performance and functional testing.Solid experience with API automation and verification.Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.Practical hands-on experience with modern automation tooling.Exposure to testing data-driven applications and distributed systems.Desirable:Experience testing GenAI or LLM-based services.Background in supporting ML, NLP, or data-heavy engineering environments.Familiarity with validating prompt flows, LLM responses, or AI pipelines.Tech Environment:Python, JavaScript, Node.jsPerformance automation toolsAPI testing frameworksGenAI & LLM ecosystems (open-source + proprietary models)Agile/Scrum deliveryJoin our client's team and be a pivotal part of the exciting growth journey in the finance sector!
