Project Quantity SurveyorLocation: Belfast, with regular travel throughout Ireland and Great BritainCompany OverviewThis contractor has over 30 years' experience delivering utilities and civil engineering projects across Ireland and the UK. Their work includes EV charging infrastructure, telecoms networks, utilities upgrades and associated civils work.The business operates on a number ofmajor frameworks for both private and public sector clients and has built a strong reputation for reliable delivery and long-term client relationships.The commercial team is well established with clear procedures in place, and the culture across the business is collaborative and delivery focused.The OpportunityThis role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with around three or more years' experience who is looking to take on greater responsibility and progress within a structured commercial team.You will work closely with the Senior QS in Ireland and project teams regionally to manage the commercial aspects of several live projects across the utilities and infrastructure sector.ResponsibilitiesManaging the commercial performance of projects and monitoring project costsProcuring subcontractors, materials and plantManaging variations and contractual noticesMeasurement, valuation and preparation of applications for paymentPreparing cost reports and assisting with CVRsSupporting project meetings and liaising with clients and subcontractorsAssisting with final accountsRequirementsMinimum three years' experience in a Quantity Surveying roleExperience in utilities, civil engineering, telecoms or infrastructure projects would be beneficialDegree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) (7+ years)Strong communication skills and ability to manage workload independentlyComfortable working with site teams, suppliers and subcontractorsFor more information or to discuss in confidence, please contact Rachael Ryan at CSR on .
