Being a member of Aladdin Product means working with the best in the industry to build innovative products that shape financial markets.Sitting at the intersection of business and technology, the Aladdin Product Management team works closely with developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to innovate, conceptualize, design and pilot new capabilities across the investment lifecycle.As a Product Manager, you will have a positive impact on developing product vision and leading day-to-day execution of the roadmap. There are many strategic areas that need exploration, evaluation, and prioritization, while in parallel ensuring that the tactical needs for continuing to deliver the product are met.As a Trading Product Manager, you will be focused on aligning product strategy and delivery for Aladdin’s trading product offering with a focus on scaling our core, cross-asset class order management capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with the lead Product Manager and Engineering team to define, manage, and execute our product vision to create a best-in-class OEMS.You are:• Passionate about building technical solutions in partnership with engineering teams• A self-starter who enjoys solving complex problems that deepen our understanding of end users• Curious to learn new skills and willing to embrace work outside of your comfort zone• Comfortable challenging the status quo and using your entrepreneurial spirit to create new solutions• A team player who is energized by working in a fast-paced environment • AI-curious and AI-practical: you actively use AI tools to accelerate product discovery, writing, analysis, and experimentation—and you can separate “cool demos” from durable product valueWe are:• Passionate about building innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients • Comfortable challenging the status quo • Curious about financial markets and the technology ecosystem • Results oriented & metric driven• Committed to fostering a purpose driven culture and working horizontally to break down silos• Building AI-enabled product capabilities responsibly prioritizing measurable outcomes, strong model/data governance, and a high bar for client trustSkills / Qualifications:Experience• 5+ years of experience in product management, trading technology, or financial markets.• Hands-on comfort using AI tools in daily product work (e.g., prompt-based research, summarization, synthesis, draft specifications, competitive scans, workflow mapping, data exploration support) with appropriate judgment and confidentiality• Experience partnering with engineering and data teams to define API contracts, data interfaces, and constraints, and to translate those considerations into product requirements and trade-offs• Knowledge of SQL, PowerBI, Azure DevOps and Aha! is a plus.Business• Familiarity with market and technology trends across the trading ecosystem• Understanding of front, middle, and back-office integration touch points• Strong comprehension of with an Order Management SystemFunctional• Understanding of product and software development lifecycles• Experience with agile development practices• Proven experience creating product roadmaps, writing business and technical specifications, and executing product deliverables.• Experience interacting with product stakeholders, including end users and software developersLeadership• Strong collaboration skills, with experience of engaging end-users, developers, and executives.• Ability to present complex technical ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders and execute against them.• Reputation of building trusting relationships• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and communicate up and down the organization• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and planning skills• Ability to work and deliver results independentlyPrimary Responsibilities:• Define and own the product story and roadmap for Aladdin’s high scaleOEMS trading capabilities.• LeadProduct Delivery Life Cycle (PDLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ceremonies including maintenance of product roadmaps, requirements, specifications, and release notes.• Serve as a resource to internal and external clients about our capabilities in the context of their business• Be a market expert - be ahead of industry, market, and technology trends to build opportunities for BlackRock and better serve our clients.• Be metric driven.
