Interim Group Financial Controller 6 Month Contract £100,000Hybrid Northampton Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a leading business who are looking for an Interim Group Head of Finance to support them through an period of growth and change. This is a hands-on role focused on strengthening controls, improving processes and bringing structure to a busy finance function.ResponsibilitiesLead the group finance function across multiple entitiesTake ownership of group consolidations and monthly financial reporting, ensuring accuracy across a complex group structureOversee the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reportingManage the external audit process and act as the main point of contact for auditorsLead the technical accounting agenda, including consolidations, acquisition accounting and compliance with relevant accounting standardsManage core Financial Controller responsibilities including FX, treasury, insurance and day-to-day financial control across the groupEnsure strong financial controls, governance and compliance are in place across all entitiesReview and improve financial processes to drive efficiency, accuracy and better reportingSupport finance systems development and wider reporting improvementsProvide clear financial insight to senior leadership and board stakeholdersLead, mentor and develop the finance teamKey SkillsQualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA Strong technical accounting knowledgeExperience in group reporting and consolidationsExperience managing audit and statutory reporting processesStrong financial controls and governance backgroundExperience working within multi entity or group structures
