A financial services business is seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join their company based in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire finance function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with UK GAAP, and providing strategic financial insights. This hands-on role requires a qualified accountant capable of working independently, overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing management accounts and managing the relationship with external accountants and auditors. Key responsibilities include maintaining cash flow reporting, managing VAT and statutory filings, supporting commercial decision-making through financial analysis, and ensuring smooth broker commission calculations and settlements.
