Software Engineer – InfrastructureOnsite 5 days per week | High-growth AI StartupWe are partnered with a fast-scaling, VC-backed AI company (over $30M in funding) that’s redefining how video security works in the real world.This is not your typical infrastructure role.You’ will be working at the intersection of cloud, edge computing, IoT, and AI, helping to build a next-generation platform that enables real-time insights, smarter alerts, and faster decision-making from video data across industries like retail, critical infrastructure, and public environments.The OpportunityThis role sits at the core of a highly technical engineering team, responsible for both cloud infrastructure and large-scale IoT deployments.You will help design, build, and scale systems that manage hundreds of thousands of connected devices, combining AWS infrastructure with custom edge software.What You Will Be DoingBuilding and maintaining production-grade infrastructure across cloud and edge environmentsManaging AWS and hybrid cloud environments using Infrastructure as CodeScaling and managing large fleets of IoT devices in the fieldDeveloping CI/CD pipelines and automation across the stackImplementing observability, monitoring, and telemetry (cloud + edge)Supporting security and compliance standards (e.g. SOC2, HIPAA)Improving developer workflows and engineering productivityWhat We Are Looking For5+ years working with AWS infrastructure (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar)Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes (EKS preferred)Proficiency in Python, Go, or another modern languageExperience building CI/CD pipelines and automationHands-on experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus)Nice to HaveExperience with IoT / edge infrastructure (device provisioning, OTA updates)Hybrid or multi-cloud environmentsSOC2 compliance exposureHigh-scale data processing systemsWhy Join?Competitive salary + equityHigh-impact role with real ownershipWork alongside experienced founders and top-tier engineersStrong runway and proven revenue tractionRegular socials, offsites, and a genuinely collaborative cultureCutting-edge work across AI, infrastructure, and real-world systemsSalary: £80 - 120k per annum
