Event Management Specialist (12 month Contract - Maternity Cover)We're partnering with a leading global financial markets company to find an Event Management Specialist to join their International Events Team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office per week, the office is based in the City.What you'll do:Plan and deliver world-class corporate events and conferences, both in-person and virtually, across international marketsManage multi-currency budgets, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure events are delivered on time and within budgetCollaborate with internal stakeholders and creative teams to develop marketing campaigns and branded assetsTrack and measure event success, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvementMaintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients, ensuring brand standards are consistently appliedConduct research for venues, event concepts, and best practices to elevate the attendee experienceWhat we're looking for:3+ years' experience in corporate financial services event managementStrong budget management and commercial negotiation skillsExperience with event management and marketing platforms (e.g., Cvent, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud)Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel for site inspections and onsite event supportWhy this role:Hybrid working: 3 days in-office, flexible balance for home workingJoin a global leader in financial markets and make an impact on high-profile international eventsOpportunity to deliver and shape events that connect the company with key audiences worldwide
