Head of Engineering | Equity | Hybrid UKI’m working with an early-stage tech business building a scalable data platform and they’re looking for a senior engineering leader to help take it to the next level.This is a hands-on role. You’ll lead a small team while owning core platform architecture and continuing to build.You’ll be shaping and scaling a backend platform handling large volumes of data across multiple users, with genuine ownership across both technical direction and team growth.Experience we’re looking for• Strong backend architecture and system design experience • Experience building or scaling SaaS or data-heavy platforms • Comfort working in startup or scale-up environments • Experience leading or mentoring engineers • Cloud-native development across AWS, GCP or Azure • Ability to balance hands-on delivery with strategic thinkingBackground could be asset tracking, IoT, data platforms, geospatial, fintech, marketplaces or other high-throughput systems.
