We are a specialist water mist fire suppression installation business — part of the Hydrocore group — the only FM-approved commercial water mist manufacturer in UK, and we are hiring a Contracts Engineer to own project delivery from order to handover.The roleYou will be the central coordination point between Hydrocore product supply, our installation subcontractors, main contractors, and clients. Office-based with site visits at key milestones. You will own the document register, drive payment applications, manage subcontractor scope, and be the client-facing delivery contact across all live projects.What you will ownProject programme and procurement coordination — Hydrocore supply into site installationCommissioning document packs — O&Ms, BAFE compliance records, test certificates, as-builtsPayment applications and subcontractor payment certificationSubcontractor scope management and day-to-day delivery interfaceClient and main contractor relationship during the delivery phaseWhat we are looking forContracts Engineer or Project Engineer background at a small UK fire, sprinkler, M&E, or building services contractorStrong on document control, commissioning packs, and subcontractor managementComfortable with payment applications and basic contract administrationOrganised, direct communicator who can hold multiple projects without losing detailFire suppression or water mist experience desirable — not essential; we will train the right personWhy join usA pivotal hire in a fast-growing specialist business, running multiple site in London and the rest of the country.
