Job Title: VC investment company Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

We are a dynamic and fast-growing family office headquartered in the scenic surroundings of Limassol managing a diverse portfolio of ventures across multiple sectors . With exciting growth on the horizon and a focus on cross-border projects, we’re looking for a Russian-speaking CFO to join our close-knit leadership team and help drive strategic financial excellence across all areas of the business.

The Role:
As CFO, you will be the financial cornerstone of our operations—reporting directly to the principal and working closely with project leads across various verticals. This is a rare opportunity to be embedded in the heart of a family office, influencing high-level decisions and shaping the financial future of a diverse investment portfolio.
This is not a traditional corporate finance role. We’re seeking someone agile, commercially minded, and comfortable juggling multiple high-value projects simultaneously. You must be a strong teamplayer in a family-type small team, where everyone is handling everything. You’ll be both strategic and hands-on whether building financial models for a new venture, overseeing budget planning, or liaising with international partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities
• Treasury management
• Managing relations with external providers for accounting, audit (big4), legal
• Manage reporting, compliance, and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including accounting, audit, and tax planning, risk management
• Develop financial models for new business initiatives
• Liaise with external advisors, banks, and auditors both locally and internationally
• Work closely with project managers and investment teams to ensure financial discipline across projects
• Translate financial insights into clear and actionable recommendations for the principal

What We’re Looking For:
• Fluent in Russian (spoken and written) – essential for liaising with stakeholders and partners
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or corporate strategy
• CFA qualification is a must. ACA or ACCA or equivalent internationally recognized accounting qualification would be an advantage
• Previous experience working in VC/PE funds or with family offices, private investment firms, or multi-project environments preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate financial ideas clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• High integrity, discretion, and a strong sense of ownership and leadership
