In partnership with Innova - an international IT company that publishes computer video games, provides gaming production services and offers consultancy to game developers - we are looking for a Senior Accountant with proven, hands-on Luxembourg accounting experience.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for our partner, a global publisher of desktop video games offering end-to-end production and consultancy services to game developers worldwide.
The company’s mission is to discover the most captivating games across the globe and introduce them to new audiences, bringing together talented creators and millions of players.

This position requires solid, proven experience in Luxembourg bookkeeping, reporting and compliance. It is a hands-on role where you will take full ownership of day-to-day accounting activities, annual financial statements under LUX GAAP, VAT and STATEC reporting, and audit preparation.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, attentive to detail, and confident in navigating Luxembourg’s regulatory and accounting framework.

Daily Accounting

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ensuring accurate posting of revenue, expenses and other operational transactions
• Prepare bank payment instructions and ensure correct supporting documentation
• Maintain structured, audit-ready accounting records.

Reporting & Compliance

• Prepare annual financial statements in accordance with LUX GAAP
• Support internal and external audits: schedules, document gathering, reconciliations
• Prepare VAT returns (Luxembourg VAT, VAT OSS, and other jurisdictions)
• Prepare STATEC reports (quarterly and annual)
• Prepare tax returns in cooperation with external tax advisers.

Collaboration & Review

• Review and guide the work of a junior team member
• Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accuracy and smooth processes.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Audit or a related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in Luxembourg, ideally in a well-established local accounting, audit or corporate services environment
• Strong knowledge of LUX GAAP, VAT rules and local compliance practices
• Fluent English French or additional languages are an asset
• Strong Excel skills and good command of Microsoft Office
• Experience with Sage BOB 50 is a plus
• High attention to detail, reliability, and excellent organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
