The American Center of Education in Uzbekistan is expanding, and we are looking for passionate and qualified IELTS Instructors and ESL Teachers to join our dynamic academic team.

Our center proudly works with experienced native English-speaking teachers from the United States, creating an authentic English-speaking environment for our students. We are currently seeking motivated professionals who can support learners in strengthening their foundation and confidently transitioning into native-speaker-led classes.

We are looking for, preferably, male teachers who is fluent in Russian as well as in Uzbek.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging ESL lessons for different proficiency levels (Beginner to Advanced).

• Prepare students for IELTS (Academic and General Training) exams.

• Develop lesson plans aligned with CEFR and IELTS band descriptors.

• Teach all four skills: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.

• Provide structured feedback on writing and speaking tasks.

• Conduct mock exams and track student progress.

• Maintain attendance records and student performance reports.

• Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles.

• Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions.

• Contribute to curriculum improvement and resource development.

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Education, or related field.

• IELTS certificate with overall band 7.5+ (minimum 8.0 preferred for IELTS instructor role).

• Proven experience teaching ESL and/or IELTS preparation (1–2+ years preferred).

• Strong knowledge of IELTS assessment criteria and exam structure.

• Excellent command of English (C1–C2 level).

• Strong classroom management skills.

• Ability to provide constructive and detailed feedback.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification (preferred).

• Experience teaching both online and offline formats (preferred).
