Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive legal support for the activities of the Group’s Russian legal entities: corporate, contract (including all general commercial agreements), and labor law.

Effective interaction with government authorities on all matters within their competence.

Dispute support: pre-trial settlement and representation of the company’s interests in court.

Legal support and supervision of the activities of the company’s legal entities in the UAE.

Drafting and preparing key legal documents for international operations, including a Term Sheet for cooperation and joint partnership.

Support in opening and maintaining bank accounts outside the Russian Federation.

Participation in negotiations with foreign consultants and banks.

Identification, analysis, and mitigation of legal risks for the company at early stages.

Conducting internal lectures and training seminars for employees on relevant legal topics (at the candidate’s discretion).

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Higher legal education (preferably graduates of MSAL or the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation).

At least 5 years of experience as a corporate lawyer / legal counsel.

Fluent English (minimum level B2), with the ability to negotiate and work with documentation in English.

Deep knowledge of Russian corporate, labor, and contract law.

Practical experience in international law, particularly within the UAE jurisdiction.

Proven experience in supporting the opening of bank accounts outside the Russian Federation.

Strong negotiation skills, including with complex foreign partners and financial institutions.

Experience in project management or coordination of work within legal tasks.

Strategic thinking, ability to identify risks in advance and propose preventive solutions.

Knowledge of international tax law is a significant advantage.
