Role Purpose

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role’s key responsibility is to handle all aspects of running the finances for Roland Music (based in Moscow).

Role Responsibilities

Reporting

• Month end reporting

• To local management in support of performance monitoring and decision making

• To its parent company, Roland Europe Group (REG)

• To Roland Japan, its ultimate parent company

Finance Team

• To be a member and support a small finance team

• Represent with the European Finance Team, as headed by European CFO

Compliance and Controls

• To oversee the timely compliance with statutory reporting requirements

• To its parent company, Roland Europe Group (REG)

• To Roland Japan, its ultimate parent company

• Manage the external audit process

• Manage and ensure compliance with banking requirements

• Oversee internal audit requirements as part of a global audit program

• Ensure that Roland Music has adequate controls in place to safeguard assets and produce accurate reporting

• Working with advisors to resolve any current or future tax queries

Budgeting and forecasting

• Lead the annual budget process for Roland Music and any reforecasting exercises required

• Monitor performance against such budgets and forecasts

Ongoing Operations

• Support as required the daily operations of the business

• Ensure that credit control is managed effectively

Ad Hoc

• Provide ad hoc support to Senior Management Team, REG and Roland Japan as required

Specific Skills Required

• Solid English knowledge is a must (both written and spoken)

• Strong Excel skills / MS office

• Experience of working with multiple entity “Group” situations – Desirable

• Experience with ERP systems (1C: Complex Automatation)

• Strong knowledge in accounting and taxation

• Knowledge of IFRS

• Export/Import operations

• Supporting CEO in negotiating contracts, e.g. insurance, rental agreements, car lease

• Transfer Pricing management

• Knowledge of any musical instrument is not required but welcome

• IT skills an advantage, assisting European IT Dept.
