Job Description

Are you an accountant expert? If you' re a pro with numbers and understand the importance of all accounting aspects, you might be the person we' re looking for. You will work independently as the only accounting expert for the office, while liaising regularly with global teams.

Office Based in Minsk, Belarus

The scope of responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of company books and bank accounts
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports, forecasts and budgets
• Cash planning and budget management
• Deviation analysis (Planned vs. Actual analysis) and proposing corrective actions, in case of substantial deviations
• Liaising with State Tax institution, local banks, VAT, revenue and other corporate taxes
• Defining the process flow of financial documents in Belarus
• Development and maintenance of country-specific procedures and policies regarding the update of chart of accounts, inventory settlement regulations, etc.
• Preparation and review of financial reporting for Group Headquarters and Country Management
• Preparation and filing the reports for local authorities, including tax declarations
• Acting as a contact person for any financial matters for PSI internally, for customers, vendors, local authorities, external auditors and HQ
• Compilation of yearly statutory reports and coordinating with external auditors
• Preparation of inventory monthly and annual reports
• Management of company assets in a cost effective manner

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance and Accounting
• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and other tax and legal regulations in the country
• Experience with corporate reporting
• Ability to work independently (Financial Closing, Financial and Tax filings etc.)
• Significant accounting experience
• Knowledge of and experience in SAP is an advantage
• Fluent Russian and English
• Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word
• Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
• Ability to plan, multitask and work in a dynamic team environment
• Communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
