Ecoplatform has formed strategic partnerships with leading waste management companies on several markets. At this point we operate in MENA, SEA, CIS regions. Next year we are going to enter LATAM and several more markets.

We are looking for the Head of Legal, who will join our global team.

Responsibilities:

• Developing and leading corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company' s matters
• Developing and leading internal audit and corporate compliance programs
• Overseeing delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish corporate goals, strategies and priorities
• Maintaining proper corporate interactions with the relevant local, state and federal governmental bodies, legislatures and the community at large
• Advising the CEO and other senior corporate officers on a variety of issues
• Participating in the formulation of general management policy as a member of the executive management team
• Building and managing a team of corporate counsel and other members of the legal department.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Excellent attention to details
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strategic thinking
• At least five years of working experience in a legal corporate/ consulting environment
• Experience of working in a startup is an advantage.

Additional:

• The candidate must also have a demonstrable track-record producing effective and high-quality legal advice to departmental heads within a business, leading to enhanced integrity in both internal and external affairs.
• The Head of Legal has to have an ability to identify and remedy complex legal issues without inviting the services of external legal advice (ideally).
• The Head of Legal must have exceptionally good leadership skills having ability to influence cross-functional teams towards a unified direction along with the business’s senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Education: University degree in law, specialization in international law – preferred.
• IP (Intellectual Property) legal management and support is preferred.
