We are looking for a Senior Procurement and Purchasing Professional

This position requires relocation to Kazakhstan

Job Description

• Search and select new partners according to priorities set
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them to obtain the best prices
• Control the terms of the contract in terms of assortment and consumer properties of the manufactured product
• Develop supplier competition in existing categories within the procurement policy
• Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make informed purchasing decisions
• Risk Management
• Verify compliance with product safety standards
• Manage vendor databases with timely updates on changes in commercial terms.

Requirements

• Completed higher education (full-time education)
• Good verbal and written Russian, English proficiency level B2 or higher
• Experience of at least 3-5 years as a Purchase/Procurement Specialist or Strategic sourcing Specialist
• Experienced in building long term relationships with suppliers
• Experienced in negotiating at the top management level and using different negotiation strategies
• Cross-functional collaboration (category management, logistics, marketing, sales, development)
• Systems thinking and strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel / Google sheets user (VPR, arrays, etc.)
• Will be an advantage - Chinese (HSK 3 or higher)
