Are you an experienced Teaching assistant who would like the opportunity to work with pupils who need extra support?We have an opportunity for you to work in a school that provides an alternative education pathway to students where traditional methods in mainstream school have failed. The school caters for 120 pupils aged 13-16 years.They believe that ensuring the pupils feel positive encourages them to achieve more, they are treated with respect and compassion, and they feel valued and cared for by the adults who have responsibility for them. They encourage them to deal with any behavioural/emotional problems by forming strong bonds with them and creating a comfortable environment for the children to thrive. The leadership believe in their students and have extremely high expectations of them, they positively encourage them to reach their goals. The working hours are 8.30am–3.30pm (full-time)The pay for this role is £11.85 - £12.57 per hour depending on experience!Specialist provision- LiverpoolStart date- As soon as possible. They received a GOOD Ofsted rating who said ‘I am of the opinion that the school has demonstrated strong practice and marked improvement in specific areas. This may indicate that the school has improved significantly overall. Therefore, I am recommending that the school’s next inspection be aThe ideal teaching assistant would be somebody who is able to work closely with children to support them in their day.
