JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Cleaning Operative /Store personLocation: Belfast Road, Central Park, Mallusk Accountable to: MRF Yard Team Manager Job Purpose: Provision of a range of cleaning duties to maintain the standards of the Mallusk sites. Specific Tasks: * To follow the daily cleaning schedule to upkeep the standards of cleanliness & hygiene within Mallusk sites. * To carry out other ad-hoc cleaning duties as required. * To use cleaning chemicals in a safe manner, following COSHH guidelines. * To Monitor the stock levels of cleaning materials and place orders as and when necessary. * Replenishing disposable items, e.g. toilet rolls, soap etc. * To ensure stock of cleaning materials is stored safely and securely. * Maintain & update all required forms necessary for the role. * Reporting of any incidents/ health and safety hazards. * The care and cleanliness of all equipment used in carrying out the above duties. * Comply with all relevant internal and legislative policies & procedures. * Undertake training as required. * Carry out any other duties as applicable. TERMS AND CONDITIONS Length of contract: Casual - As and when required Salary: £12.17 per hour Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm Holidays: 232 hours per year - inclusive of statutory days (pro rata) Increasing to 256 hours with length of service Notice: 4 weeks PERSON SPECIFICATION Job Title: Cleaning Operative Essential Criteria- Experience with Stock Control- Demonstratable knowledge of COSHH guidelines- Good oral and written communication skills- Organizational & prioritisation skills- Ability to work as part of a team- Flexible to work overtime as requiredDesirable Criteria- 1 year experience in a similar role Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.
